In 2007, customers from near and far came to enjoy the outdoor shopping experience every Saturday, from Memorial Day weekend through the last weekend in September, in downtown Mossyrock. Vendors sold produce, baked goods, processed foods, arts & crafts, plants and nursery items, and other unique products.

The Market is now accepting vendors for the 2008 season. Click on the links below to find out how you can take part in this fun and lively opportunity to sell your goods:

We are also welcoming sponsors to help the market get further established in our second year. See all our 2007 sponsors in the right column. Your name could be there too -- as a "Charter Sponsor" ($100 or more) or as a "Friend of the Market" ($20-$99). Click to email us for information on Sponsorship Opportunities.

Get involved!

This market is a grassroots effort by community members who came up with the idea of a public market at an Action Forum of the Horizons program. Horizons is designed to reduce poverty and create a more thriving community by developing leadership from within. Program participants are already displaying such leadership through their creative efforts to expand business opportunities, community resources, and marketing and events in the area.

Many volunteers worked for months in 2007, contributing their time and talents to create something to benefit the community and beyond. And we welcome more volunteers! There's plenty of work for everyone!

We especially need volunteer Market Managers to be on-site during the market days. Click to e-mail us if you'd like to be on the Mossyrock Public Market committee, or if you'd like to volunteer as a Market Manager!
